EXPERIENCE AND LEADERSHIP
Johnson & Elligott is an experience-based company that brings
together the local government expertise of a former Mayor and a senior
manager. Both share a well-rounded working knowledge of local communities, and the challenges faced by
Councils, police, school and regional boards, and staff, on a daily basis. |
Beth Johnson has 16 year experience as Mayor and Councillor for the
Corporation of Delta. She possesses strong communication,
facilitation, and leadership skills and has expertise in enhancing local
governance, establishing sound Council-staff working relationships, and
creating action-oriented strategic plans.Rick
Elligott is a senior manager with 25 years experience with local government
in finance, planning, and administration. He possesses strong problem
solving, strategic planning, project management skills, and has expertise in
simplifying complex issues and developing teams.
Together, the partners have designed strategic leadership
as a practical, experienced based approach to municipal business. The
program is tailored to each community and encourages Council and staff to
work together in creating an effective and productive working relationship,
for the benefit of the community. The program is offered through
workshops and work-with-you programs. |
